Hope (2013)

While the plot is relatively simple, the acting feels truly impressive because of the genuine feelings between the lines.

Based on a true story, Hope follows the traumatic journey of a young girl, So-won, who survives a brutal sexual assault and must rebuild her life amid a deeply flawed justice system. Despite immense physical and emotional pain, her courage and the love of her family highlight the resilience of the human spirit.
